Neste Renewable Diesel
Neste is a Finnish renewable fuel company that was ranked as the world’s third-most sustainable company in 2019. The company’s signature product, Neste MY Renewable Diesel, is a 100% renewable, clean-burning alternative to conventional diesel. As a true drop-in fuel, Neste MY can be used in any conventional diesel engine, with no modifications required. That means it can help fleet managers significantly reduce emissions — literally overnight.
The challenge in selling Neste MY? Clearing the air about pervasive misconceptions surrounding operating power, maintenance costs, and the ease of converting conventional engines.
Case Study
To show just how easy and immediately beneficial the switch to Neste MY Renewable Diesel can be, I wrote this case study promoting the overnight success of a school district in Northern California.
Trade Show Brochure
I also wrote copy for a tri-fold brochure, which was to be used at 2019 trade shows. The goal was to educate prospective consumers (private and public fleet managers, OEMs, etc.) about the environmental and performance benefits of using Neste MY.
Though Leadership Article
I was also the ghostwriter for a thought leadership article that was published in trade magazine Modern Work Truck Solutions, and shared on LinkedIn by Dayne Delahoussaye, Neste Public Affairs Senior Advisor. This article promotes the efficacy of renewable diesel relative to electric vehicles, another prominent energy-efficient transportation alternative.
Lead Gen Email Campaign
I also wrote subject lines, pre-headers, and copy for an email campaign geared toward potential customers. Of course, the challenge is explaining the benefits of renewable diesel in as few words as possible — especially considering character counts for subject lines and pre-headers. Below are two email examples.
Banner Ads
I wrote banner ads promoting a gated renewable diesel white paper. Email addresses gathered from those who downloaded the white paper were then targeted by the newsletters above.
