I’m happy to tell you why I think I’m great, but I’d rather you hear it from the people I’ve worked with.

Brian calls himself a copywriter, but he is much more than that: a story strategist, a customer champion, a cross-functional wizard. I partnered with Brian to complete a series of customer case studies featuring impossibly complicated products, where he led story development and conducted the customer interviews. He tackled messaging and positioning like a top-notch product marketer, teased out the stories with empathy and finesse, and advised reader-friendly layouts supporting fast consumption for short attention spans. He shares product knowledge and writing methods with a generous spirit, which makes him a leader at any table where he has a seat. Watching Brian distill complex topics and product marketing jargon into relatable language is like watching an Olympic gymnast complete a routine that defies physics—you have no idea where to begin trying to do that yourself. Brian’s command of language, team leadership, partnership in idea development, and clarity of voice is why ChatGPT will never replace true copywriters.

I’ve worked with hundreds of writers over the years and I can honestly say Brian is a rare find. He’s the best of copywriting, all in one disarmingly friendly package. When I joined the company as Brian’s manager, he immediately stepped up to help with my onboarding and was invaluable in sharing his knowledge about all aspects of the business. He's truly passionate about telling product and customer stories and that comes across in writing that is genuine and relatable––not an easy task in the B2B space. His work was often done ahead of schedule and he was always ready to dive head-first into ambiguous projects and get the answers needed to move forward.

Brian's writing combines passion, wit, focus, and imagination. He is an artful storyteller and conceptual thinker, always looking for the big idea. His background in journalism gives him a depth of knowledge, attention to detail and voracious appetite for new information, making him an outstanding long-form writer as well. Perhaps most importantly, Brian is genuinely awesome human being. I loved working with Brian, professionally and personally. Given the opportunity, I'd do it again in a heartbeat. Any place that hires him is lucky to have him.

Brian is more than a creative copywriter, and it’s deceiving when you first meet him. How can a guy who’s so incredibly kind and collaborative be such a brilliant communicator? Brian can distill complex abstract concepts into narratives that help readers not only learn but engage with the content to take action. Though I only got to work with him briefly, he's a creative leader that I trusted to engage with stakeholders and drive content programs forward. He was able to even coach others on best practices to engage customers to build better case studies. If you get a chance to work with Brian, do not hesitate because he was a huge asset to our company and a champion for great team culture as well.

Brian gets it. He is easy to work with and a fast read. Brian joined an important project with a lot of Senior client visibility (straight up to C-Level) to lead content writing for a white paper. I've been on this project for nearly two years and have first hand witnessed who 'gets it' and who needs more time/patience to digest the facts. I was stunned at how fast Brian's comprehension of this Oxford Economic's study was. After quickly getting up to speed (saving my team stress and time) Brian's pragmatic, easy-to-follow logic of the study's flow had our clients approving the work with ease. Absolutely want to work with him again.

Brian Beer does it all. And does it well, with a smile. He is no joke the most dedicated writer I have worked with, a meticulous editor, and a top-notch conceptual ideator. Great guy to have on your team.

Brian has transformed our company from one with boring copy to creative copy that feels like the brand. He has been able to not only jump in and provide an excellent voice for the brand but offer ideas and concepts that really make the campaign jump off the page. He would be an excellent addition to any brand that wants to engage with clients.

Brian is an absolute joy to work with. Creative and flexible, he provides a variety of options to accurately communicate the sentiment, without adding extraneous words. Also he is a fun, joyful and kind person to have around. Highly recommend.
